Man Drowns in Hesperia Aqueduct

HESPERIA, CA. On Sunday February 4th 2018 at around 12:30 p.m. While most are at home getting ready to watch the Superbowl. Sheriff Dispatch received a call of an adult male that had fallen into the California Aqueduct in the area of 11th & Ranchero Rd. The caller reported that he had fallen into the aqueduct and his father jumped in after him but his father never resurfaced.. A hat was retrieved from the area of Farmington Street in hesperia. All reports are unconfirmed at this time. Update: The body of the boys father was recovered from the Aqueduct around 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
