2 Homes Destroyed. Working Fire In Cedar Glen

SAN BERNARDINO, CA. On Sunday August 5th 2018. At about 2:50 pm, multiple calls to 911 were reporting of a structure fire in Lake Arrowhead. The incident took place near Cedar on the 300 block of Hemlock in the Palisades neighborhood of Cedar Glen. The smoke was visible from all over the mountain. Fire crews responded and arrived at 2:57 pm. The first units onscene reported two fully involved structures with fire spreading into the vegetation. San Bernardino County Fire, CalFire and US Forest Service Fire sent a total of 10 engine companies to fight the fire. KING FIRE Aftermath

SAN BERNARDINO, CA. On August 6th 2018 at around 11:40 am A vegetation fire was reported in the area just north of Base Line and Aplin Street in the City of Highland and within sight of numerous homes. Firefighters from throughout Southern California combined ground crew and air drop efforts to battle a 6 to 7 acre brush fire.
